I was called Sr. Mary Timothy until Vatican II, 1963, when I changed back to my baptismal name.
I was born in Orange, Texas. My parents were from Louisiana -- Cajun Country -- Jeanerette and Thibodoux, LA.
Education: High School at Orange, Stark High School; Bachelor of Science in University of Houston; Masters in Business Administration in Notre Dame, Indiana; Masters in Religious Education in St. Thomas University, Houston.
Teaching Experience: Incarnate Word Academy for 12 years teaching Business subjects and English, Bishop Byrne High in Port Arthur, and Marian High for 3 years for Secondary Education; and in Port Arthur, Beaumont, La Grange, Hitchcock and Baytown for Elementary Education.
Memorable Experience: Sabbatical in Santa Fe, New Mexico at Sangre de Cristo which was sponsored by the Christian Brothers.
